Three more days to go..........

There is a growing sense of excitement   in our house as Halloween  draws  closer and  closer.  Now I know we dotn truly  DO  Halloween in Australia  BUT  our little street has some  Americans in it and they atarted a tradition of Halloween  for the kids that want to play.  You get a black  balloon and you hang it out the front if you want to join in ( That way  the kids dont  scare  the oldies !)  .  The kids all dress up - Mine have had their costumes  ready since about August!!  Then at about  5pm - the ghosts,  ghouls,  vampires and occasional  fairy  princesses come out to Trick or treat.  Our first  year - we ran out of lollies - PANIC -  Ran  to the hsops and  ALL loolies  had sold out!   So now we are prepared and  buy lollies ahead of time.  I love  it - the kids have a ball and i get to take  the coolest  photos!  Here are some of the scraps from  last year .....
